This probably isn't an unusual email for your company to receive based on the way your Lifts are designed and constructed. For me however, sending this kind of email is a first. I was looking at my Pit Bull Lift this morning and started thinking about when I bought it. I never have considered buying another lift because my Pit Bull has always worked and worked very well. In fact, it has seen me through 5 different Harley Davidson motorcycles and never once failed. To this day I use it at least once a month. Anyway, I was looking at the lift and as I remembered when I bought it I was a little surprised. I can't think of any other item that I own that has lasted longer than my Pit Bull Lift. I bought my lift in late 1998. This fall will be 18 years of continuous service. I mean, who builds products that last for 18 plus years without a single failure to operate, parts needed, nothing? To me that is unheard of. Thank you Pit Bull for making such magnificently tough and reliable products. I'd like to say that I'll never buy another brand of lift except a Pit Bull, but as tough as my lift is, I don't know exactly when I'll need another one. I've attached a picture of my almost 18 year old lift. As you can see she's got some age and wear on her, but she still works like she did the day she arrived at my garage door.

Hey gang,

Just a short line about this lift. I bought mine at bike week this year couldn't wait to get it home to put her together. I was extremely impressed with the materials that this lift is constructed with and the welds and what a excellent bead is support to look like. I new that you can't beat this lift head to head or for money, but to see your own lift sitting on your deck it was worth every penny spent and this lift allows me to build a smaller hooch for my bike (smaller hooch means smaller a/c and heating bills and more money for the bike) Thanks for hanging there for us, I know as a prior businessman it is tough to make ends meet when lifts sale are effected my a slow economy but one thing is sure only the best will rise to the top when this is over and that's where we will all see you guy's very soon. Dear PITBULL,

How many times can I say thank you without starting to sound smitten? I purchased a standard series manual lift at Christmas and had my first opportunity to use it today Jan. 22nd to test it lifting my 1800 Goldwing. The minor assembly was a breeze, and as I familiarized myself with its very user friendly operation, the details paid to its construction were obvious. Solid as a rock with a finish smooth as glass!!!!

I must confess that for its initial use, I secured the services of a friend as a spotter, only to learn that it was (SMART BUT TOTALLY UNNECESSARY)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased my lift to aide in the servicing and maintenance of my Honda Goldwing. I have used other (CHEAPER) jacks in the past, one with disastrous results. After such a bad experience, the thought of being alone in the garage with my machine on another lift was not something I looked forward too!!! But I purchased a PITBULL MANUAL LIFT for Christmas, and actually used it for the first time Jan. 22, 2010. From the moment that I opened the crate I could see the difference in quality and construction! The finish is SMOOTH AS GLASS, and once I completed the minor assembly it was clear that this lift is SOLID AS A ROCK!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to write and let you guys know how pleased I am with my jack. I came up there from North Carolina and picked up 2 jacks, one for myself and one for my brother. We are totally happy and feel like it was a great investment. We have had them one for about 2 years and not one minute’s problem with either one. We never fear that the bike is unstable in any way at all when it's on the lift.

I emailed and phoned last week about my bent/cracked handle on my 7 year old Pitbull Lift. To my surprise on Monday my new handle was at my front door along with a couple of return springs! Thanks PITBULL!

My wheel arrived already, is installed, greased and holding the Road Star 1700 solidly at 25 inches above the garage floor for some TLC.

Note: This lift replaces the aluminum Craftsman that I had to replace the O rings and oil in after it spit oil all over the floor, stranding the bike up in the air. No warranty and they said it can't be fixed so I fixed it anyway. You can imagine the smile on my face now with the Pitbull.

I received my lift last week. Everything just as promised and delivery was a day early. Quality product and I am glad I spent the $$ to get it.

A couple of thoughts based on my experience putting it together.

The two wing bolts could have used an illustration or picture on the instructions as far as where they go. Luckily my wife figured it out for me before I had to go inside and logon to the website to see what I could figure out.

Once my wife told me where they went, they went in without a problem.

My jack bottomed out slightly on my floor but evidently that is a problem with a slight crown in my cement. I added two flat washers under each of the bolts on the swivel casters and problem solved.

I bought the aluminum Craftsman (yellow) jack, lifted the bike ONCE. The thing was so unstable I thought it was going to fall off. Also, when letting it down, if you do not make micro adjustments to the valve, the thing PLUMMETS down. Mine actually fell toward me while lowering. Adrenaline kicked in, and I only suffered two small dings in the pipe.

I returned it, and ordered a Pit-Bull lift. These things are RUGGED. I can lift my bike, latch it, and then, with no straps, grab my handlebar and pull myself onto the bike. They have videos of this on the web site, I had to try it myself, and it's no bull!

These things are the best. They are expensive, but not as expensive as a tank if your bike falls... So, if you really value your bike, I highly advise you to avoid the craftsman. And I doubt ANYONE who has one will deny the problem with letting it down slowly...

PS - I have NO reason to put down the Craftsman lifts or promote the Pit-Bull except from my experience, and my fear of trashing my bike. In the end, it's your decision, but if peace of mind is worth an extra $300, then don't skimp on your lift. My two cents,

I just wanted to let you know that I received the motorcycle lift on September 19 as per the tracking info. I had to let you know that this lift was money well spent. I couldn't be more pleased with the operation and ease in the use. I have had many bikes since 1994 and a few lifts. The last lift I bought was a H/D hand crank which cost $375.95 and was difficult to use. Your product is everything you say it is and more. Thanks againFrank Zocchi

I've had my Electra Glide on it at maximum height for a year while deployed to Iraq with no issues, and for months at a time during other shorter deployments! Fifteen minutes after UPS dropped off our new Pit Bull Air Lift my ‘08 FLHTCU was up in the air!

Four bolts and I was in business.
